Shelly Beach Caravan Park is an ideal location for beach fishing in front of the park for Flathead, Salmon, Trout, Tommy Ruff.
The local jetties are excellent for Garfish, Squid, King George Whiting, the odd big Snapper and Blue Swimmer Crabs.
Ceduna is the gateway from the east to the west of Australia and is known as the home of the King George Whiting. Denial Bay is renown for it's mouth watering oversized oysters, which can be purchased in the Oyster Bar or at the oyster farms at Denial Bay.
The surf beaches around Ceduna are best for huge Mulloway, Gummy Shark and Salmon fishing. We also have the best surfing at Cactus Beach.
We have a remarkable whale watching area at the head of the Bight where the Southern Right Whale, migrate from the South Pole to the Head of the Bight, just to mate and can calve their young during the months of April to September.
We see the potential of this last frontier as an attraction to the adventurous traveller or the place to escape for a real holiday.
